Canon has yet another camera in their Entry level DSLR segment, the EOS 1300D which is a great addition to the company’s popular entry level segment. The EOS 1300D is equipped with an 18.0 megapixel CMOS sensor and ISO speed expandable up to 12,800 which is decent enough for an entry level DSLR to capture great photographs.
Coming to Videos the camera is capable of recording Full HD resolution movies at 30fps. One on the most impressive features which caught my attention is the Camera Connect app, through this users have the option to shoot remotely without the need of a separate remote as your smartphone or tablet can act as one. Upon connecting the EOS 1300D with a smart device like your Smartphone or Tablet, users get the options like adjusting the camera settings such as shutter speed, aperture, and ISO speed, and then capture the shot using their smart device.
To get Noise free and Non grainy images, the DSLR is equipped with DIGIC 4+ dedicated image processor and an 18.0 megapixel APS-C size CMOS sensor which is approximately 25 times larger than a standard smartphone. The EOS 1300D comes with a Optical view finder and an impressive 3-inch 920,000-dot LCD monitor which can help in viewing focus points more easily and clearly. The camera comes with a 9-point Auto-focusing system that allows fast and accurate auto-focusing on the subject which can be viewed on the LCD monitor and viewfinder. The camera’s AI Servo AF constantly tracks and focuses on moving subjects precisely.
The camera comes with connectivity features like built-in WiFi and NFC support to connect and share content easily. The camera has five creative filters like soft focus, grainy black and white, toy camera effect, fish-eye effect, and miniature effect.
The Canon EOS 1300D will be available from April 2016 onward at INR 29,995 with the EF-S 18-55 IS II kit lens, while the double EF-S 18-55 IS II & EF-S 55-250 IS II lenses variant is priced at INR 38,995.
